SANDI DOODLES : LONG BRAID

I don't find myself doing complete pencil renderings to often. As forgiving as pencils can be, because of the erase factor, I prefer clear monotoned lines of pen and ink. All of my illustrations start with light pencil sketches which are then erased after the ink is applied but every now and again, I get in a groove of shading in an illustration an get a little crazy with my Number 2. An if you're on the current hunt for the perfect pencil, there are tons out there, but I really love this one pictured, the "Twist -Erase III" by Pentel 0.5mm (find it here) an let's just say I own a good handful of them.
